Festival FAQ 2024

Where is the 2024 Buffalo Irish Festival located?

Lakeside Lawn at Buffalo Outer Harbor, 825 Fuhrmann Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14203. Walk through the tunnel next to the skate park to find the festival entrance.

I bought my tickets online. How do I access them?

Your tickets will come in an email from Tixr, our ticketing site. No tickets will be shipped or snail mailed. All Buffalo Irish Festival tickets are print-at-home or scannable on your phone. Bring your printed ticket or e-ticket to the gate for entry to the festival.

What are festival hours?

Festival hours are Friday, July 28 from 5 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, July 29 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, July 30 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Parade of Flags will return to kick off the festivities on Friday and a traditional Irish mass will take place at 10 a.m on Sunday morning. Admission for mass is free, and admission for children 16 and under is free all weekend.

How much are tickets?

There are lots of options to enjoy a day at the festival or the entire weekend. Kids 16 and under are free. Admission prices are:

  • Friday $10
  • Saturday $20
  • Sunday $15 -all guests who attend Mass at 10 a.m. under the festival tent will get free admission that day
  • Weekend Pass $30

Are there any discounts on admission?

Kids 16 and under are free. Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, July 30 under the festival tent at 10 a.m. All who attend Mass receive free admission that day.

Will tickets be sold at the gate?

Yes, but we recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance to save time and avoid long lines.

Can I leave and re-enter the festival?

Re-entry is permitted on the day your ticket is valid. Weekend pass holders will be permitted re-entry throughout the weekend.

Ticketing issues and/or questions?

Once you purchase a festival ticket you will receive a confirmation email from our ticket partner, Tixr. Your Buffalo Irish Festival ticket will be attached to that email confirmation. Print the ticket at home or have it easily accessible on your smartphone. For technical issues, contact info@buffalowaterfront.com.  

What forms of payment are accepted at the festival?

Sales at the admission gate, t-shirts, band merchandise, and bar sales are CASH ONLY. Please come prepared with cash or utilize the ATM on site. Food and vendor sales may accept cards, but their accepted payment forms may vary.

Is there an ATM on site?

Yes, an ATM will be available for your use at the festival.

Are there accommodations for patrons with disabilities?

Accessible port-o-potties are available on the grounds. Limited accessible parking spots will be available. Golf cart rides will be available for those who need assistance getting from the parking lot to the admission gate and back. Please note we are on State Park grounds. Festival organizers have attempted to make the area as accessible as possible, however, some areas are beyond our abilities to make completely accommodating.

Will there be food?

Yes! Vendors will sell food throughout the weekend.

Can I bring in my own food and drinks?

Outside food and beverage, including coolers, are prohibited.

Will there be seating? 

Yes! Tables and chairs will be available under the tents where the bands are playing and other areas throughout the festival grounds.

Are service animals allowed?

Registered service animals (documentation required) are OK. Pets, Emotional Support Animals and Therapy dogs are not permitted.
