The Buffalo Irish Festival

Announcing our 2024 National/International Acts!

They blew us away last year so we had to have them back, Central New York's own Kilrush!

Champions of great songs about Irish history sung with passion and power, a new favorite in the Buffalo area, straight from Ireland, The Druids!

The Diver sisters aka The Screaming Orphans from Donegal Ireland have played across the world with acts such as Sinéad O'Connor, Peter Gabriel, and Joni Mitchell;  their eclectic mix of traditional music and modern pop stylings will get you up and dancing and have made them a Western NY favorite. After several years of schedules not lining up we are finally able to host them this year!
For over 20 years, hailing from the Kansas City (don't hold that against them - we'll turn them into Bills' fans) The Elders have been one of the top Irish rock bands in the US, winning numerous awards including an Emmy and hosting their own PBS special.  We are excited to have this premiere band with us this year!
The members of Trú grew up with different musical palettes, but also came from distinct cultural identities as children of the Peace Agreement in Northern Ireland. The trio has mixed heritage (British-Ukrainian and Irish Nationalist) and together they have fostered an unusual and fruitful collaborative ethos based on respect and exploration. The band's name nods to their shared heritage. The trú was a mythological trio of poet-musicians in ancient Ulster.
Coming from central Ohio, the traditional Irish band Fialla, all multi-instrumentalists, and one a dancer, they present Celtic music so faithfully one thinks they hear the accents of the old country. We are excited to welcome them to Buffalo!
